Mumbai: The latest episode of Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is filled with heartfelt emotions as Abhira helps Arman commemorate Shivani’s birthday, encouraging the family to confront the past with acceptance instead of pain. While old wounds resurface, the day also marks the beginning of healing within the Poddar family.
The episode opens on a warm note with Arman serving tea to Abhira. As she gazes at the sky with a smile, Arman is surprised to see her cheerful after the emotional events of the previous day. Abhira tells him that she realised how fortunate she is to have a family that stands by her through every challenge. Arman teasingly asks whether she is only discovering this now, and she admits that she had momentarily forgotten until he reminded her. Their conversation soon turns romantic as Arman promises to love her just as deeply even in their old age, and the couple playfully imagines what growing old together would look like.
The mood changes when Arman suddenly remembers that it is Shivani’s birthday. Elsewhere, Madhav feels strangely restless and tells Vidya that the day seems significant, although he cannot remember why. Vidya tries to calm him, unaware of the emotions that are about to resurface.
Arman shares with Abhira how he had spent years quietly remembering Shivani’s birthday on his own. Moved by his memories, Abhira decides that this year Shivani should be celebrated with love rather than silence and plans to involve Myra and Mukti. Arman hesitates, revealing that while Myra knows Shivani existed, she does not know the complete truth. He worries that learning everything may change the way she views Kaveri and Vidya. Abhira, however, believes Myra deserves to know her family’s history and decides to go ahead with the celebration.
Later, Arman thanks Abhira for standing beside him on such an emotional day. Smiling, Abhira tells him he does not need to keep thanking her for doing something that matters to both of them.
Meanwhile, Kaveri and Vidya enter the kitchen intending to prepare a special meal for Arman but are surprised to find Arman and Abhira already cooking. When Vidya asks about the elaborate preparations, Abhira gently reveals that they are for Shivani’s birthday. The revelation leaves Vidya stunned, while the strained silence between Madhav and Vidya reflects the emotional weight of the occasion. Watching them, Arman and Abhira feel saddened by the unresolved pain between the two.
Curious about the unusual atmosphere, Myra and Mukti ask why everyone seems emotional and why Abhira is dressed so elegantly. Instead of answering immediately, Abhira asks the girls to get ready, promising that everything will soon become clear.
As part of the day’s observance, Abhira plans to distribute food among the underprivileged before performing a puja. However, Kaveri objects to holding the ritual inside the Poddar house. Arman quietly tells Abhira that this is exactly why he had never celebrated Shivani’s birthday at home all these years.
Determined to change that, Abhira appeals to Kaveri, urging her to let Shivani be remembered with dignity and peace. She also requests Vidya to let go of her insecurities and accept Shivani’s place in Arman’s life, especially now that she is no longer alive. Unable to handle the conversation, Vidya walks away in tears.
Later, Arman and Abhira distribute food to those in need in Shivani’s memory. During the event, a mysterious woman briefly approaches Myra. Before Myra can understand who she is, the woman disappears as soon as Arman and Abhira arrive, leaving Myra puzzled.

Soon, Disha, Aryan and Krish join the couple and inform them that despite their efforts, they could not convince the elders to attend the ceremony.
Back at the Poddar house, Manisha asks Kaveri if they should join Arman and Abhira in honouring Shivani. While Kajal worries about hurting Vidya’s feelings, Manoj feels Arman deserves the family’s support. Sanjay sarcastically remarks that if anyone wants to hurt Vidya, they should go ahead and join the ceremony.
At the puja, Myra asks Arman about the significance of the rituals. Abhira lovingly introduces Shivani to Myra and Mukti through stories and memories, allowing the girls to understand her importance in Arman’s life. Deeply moved, Myra assures Arman that he will never again have to remember Shivani’s birthday alone.
Aryan also reveals that Abhira had made special efforts to arrange Shivani’s photograph in time for the ceremony, making the occasion even more meaningful.
In a touching conclusion, the Poddar family—including Kaveri—arrives at the puja to stand beside Arman and Abhira. Their unexpected presence leaves the couple overwhelmed, hinting that years of bitterness may finally be giving way to reconciliation.
Episode Ends
Precap: The Poddars celebrate Myra’s birthday, where she announces that she has a special guest. Introducing Kabir, she shocks the family by revealing that she wants to marry him. Arman reminds her that this stage of life is meant for building a career, not planning a wedding. Myra argues that, just like Abhira, she can pursue her dreams after marriage. Abhira calls her immature, leaving everyone wondering how Arman and Abhira will respond to Myra’s unexpected decision.
